Sources of Enthusiasm

This one came to me while just coming to school this morning. In life there are different things which fill us with the spark of energy, make us enthusiastic & blow life in us. These are different situations, different dimensions which somehow touches the core of our being and take away all the dullness & make us like lump of energy TOTALLY ALERT & ACTIVE. I am calling them "sources of enthusiasm" Here I could stretch my consciousness to recollect the possible sources:

1. Inspirations Reading/Books: Have you noticed sometime when you are feeling dull and no hope in life and you stuck with inspirational reading may be a book, news article, interview and as we are going through the lines something start changing inside and by the time we are finish the reading we feel like taking some action, we want to do something constructive whether at gross level or at subtle level. SO KEEP READING INSPIRING STUFF (BEST FROM GURUDEV MOUTH)

2. Challenges: Have you noticed, sometime when life seems monotonous and boring ever and some challenge is posed to us suddenly adrenaline is pumped in our blood and we stood up straight upright ready to face anything. SO CHALLENGE YOURSELF EVERYDAY.

3. Presence of Loved one: This I am sure the experience this one. In presence of our loved one we simply feel uplifted and enthusiastic. SO BE IN THE COMPANY OF LOVED ONE.

4. Our creativity INPUT: You must have noticed whenever we do something creative (Like I am writing this post :) hahaha...). Our whole consciousness is so lively and joyful and every aspect look the expression of life filled with enthusiasm, no dullness :). SO DO SOMETHING CREATIVE EVERYDAY, SOMETHING NOT ROUTINE :)

5. Physical Activity (Yoga): This help best when due to physical toxin we feel dull and lazy and our whole system is like a log. Take out time and do some stretches and yoga. It will flush your whole system a liveliness. DO YOGA :)

6. Helping somebody: This one I have experienced many time. sometime for no reason we feel dull, lack of life though everything is fine working perfectly fine. Still some heaviness downs in our heart. Just go out and help somebody might be helping somebody to cross a road or lift a weight however insgnificant it might seems but it give a sense to contributing something and you again filled with Enthusiasm :) SO GO OUT AND BE A HELPING HAND :)

7. Deep Rest: This one is also true. If you are really tired and none of the above one is working for you and you find yourself totally confused then take a pillow and sleep. Have deep rest, take some vacation go, give yourself nice treatment, go for spa take a ayurvedic massage. Now this one you can get as a deal if you go for advanced course provided by Art of living Foundation in Bangalore Ashram :) This will also recharge you rejuvenate you with new life :)

Now you find out which one of these is going to work for you at a particular moment when you need a kick to jump high again and apply those. Also, I am sure there might be other moments also where you have felt that upliftment in yourself and you might have feel that spark of energy. Do share those tricks which has helped you to come out of dullness and filled you with life and what you call SOURCE OF ENTHUSIASM :)

PS: PLEASE WRITE YOUR COMMENTS AND LET ME KNOW HOW YOU LIFE THIS POSTING, YOUR INPUT INSPIRE ME TO LEARN MORE AND WRITE MORE :)

Yeah... Keeping up with Kriya... doing seva... being in present moment... realizing all is responsibility...

Everything needs reminder sometimes... but coming back to the center always feels sooo good.

DON"T FOR GET SATSANGS!!!! :) But then I guess that would fall under being with loved ones.

Some more Q & A

Here are few more Q & A with Swami ji: Q. What is consciousness? A. Everything is consciousness! Whether you can see it or not, feel it or not! Q. What is the purpose of my life? A. On this question, Swami ji asked the participant to pat himself and said congratulate to yourself that mind is opening up and going beyond the day to day life, my job, my family, prestige etc. Then he said I will tell you three things in reference to this question: i. One who know will never tell you the answer. ii. Those who are telling don't know the answer. iii. Keep asking your question and whatever answer comes keep putting them in trash and one day you will get the answer to this question :-) Q. Who am I? A. Again for this question Swami ji asked the participant to congratulate himself and he said again follow the three things I told you in answer before. i. One who know will never tell you the answer. ii. Those who are telling don't know the answer. iii. Keep asking your question and what...
